CONSTRUCTION PROCESS

Every project begins with a consultation where one of our certified, professional and knowledgeable staff will discuss your pool, its shape, location, overall design, cost and anticipated construction time required to complete the project. Once these areas have been finalized your Adco Pools representative will detail the entire process from start to finish, making sure all of your pool needs are taken care of. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority and we are committed to making sure the final product is exactly what you want.

1. Upon completion of the final architectural drawings, the excavation process will begin and the shape of the pool will be established.
2. A strong cage of rebar lines the entire pool shell for overall structural integrity.
3. In order to ensure maximum efficiency and safety, built-in equipment such as automatic cleaning units, plumbing, underwater lights…etc. are strategically implemented.
4. The concrete or gunite is applied under extremely high pressure, covering the cage of rebar. It is then carved and shaped by a skilled team of craftsmen.
5. Pool decks and/or coping are installed. There are many choices for every need and every budget.
6. A mosaic tile border is installed at the waterline using acrylic fortified thinset mortar. Tile samples are provided to the owners for their examination.
7. Mechanical equipment is installed including circulation pumps, filters, salt systems, ozone generators, heaters…etc.
8. Its time to choose your pool finish. White plaster, the most common finish, made up of white cement and white marble sand, which is floated and troweled to a smooth watertight surface. Custom plaster colours are available upon request as well as complete pool tiling.
9. Your pool is filled with water and chemically balanced. Now its time for you and your family to jump in and enjoy!
